Projects

Social Networks Visualiser (SocNetV): A scientific yet user-friendly tool for the analysis and visualization of social networks, available for Linux, Mac and Windows. It is free software (GPL3), developed in C++ with the Qt4 GUI toolkit, and is hosted at Sourceforge.net with Subversion VCS.
www.apeiro.gr: Apeiro.gr is an Moodle-based educational portal with lots of K-12 Math resources (theory and exercises) for Greek students.
www.linuxinside.gr: Build on LAMP with Drupal 6 and the 960px rule, the magazine’s official site serves as incubator of future linux addicts. As of Feb 2011, the site’s forum is currently the biggest Linux forum in Greek internet boasting more than 4500 users.
www.supersyntages.gr: Together with my girlfriend Eleni Kazani, we are building the first community-based, non-profit website for cooking recipes («συνταγές μαγειρικής» in Greek). Check it out!
QDiskCatalog, a new project which aims to be a modern media catalog application. It is free software (GPL3) and is hosted at Launchpad (Bazaar VCS). It’s nowhere stable yet, but we’re getting to it!
Sxolinux, a Greek remaster/ecdoche of Ubuntu, targeting High School kids, incorporating lots of educational software and Greek high school ebooks, along with full multimedia support.
www.linuxformat.gr: Together with Manolis Mavrikakis, we have built the (now defunct) magazine’s portal on Drupal 5 and MySQL.
